To view field

1. Turn on the microscope (the switch is in the back).
2. Focus and magnification are found on ENTER INFORMATION.
3. To look through the eye lens, push the metal bar into the first inside notch - lots of pressure.
4. Turn on the microscope lights
5. DONT TOUCH THE APERTURE!
6. Leave settings as they are for external lights.
7. Use up and down arrows on the microscope to adjust the lights on the microscope.
8. Turn the computer on and type the password “larvaearesuper”.
9. Open cellSens Standard on the computer.

To set time lapse

1. View —> Tool Windows —> Process Manager.
2. Set total duration and interval, then start time lapse.
3. The setting should be: ISO 100, exposure -1, photos of complete settings as copied from the manual can be found in this Google Doc of the SOP or this manual pdf start on page 29.
4. When finished, go to: File —> Export To —> Tiff Series —> Destination Folder —> Fiorella (or whatever folder you want).
